Frequently Asked Questions:
You must first look at why you are taking a CPR class. If you are taking it because your employer requires it then they will let you know which class you need, whether it is BLS, CPR, CPR with First Aid, BLS with First Aid, or maybe you just need our Friends and Family course.
If you are a healthcare worker or first responder, such as a Nurse, CNA, Medical Provider, MA, Police Officer, or Fire Fighter you may be required to take the BLS for Heathcare Providers (which is just referred to as BLS). However, keep in mind that BLS does not include First aid, therefor if you are required to recertify in First Aid annually or bi-annually then you will need to take the First Aid course along with the BLS course in order to recertify. If you are administrative but work in a healthcare setting you will need to ask your employer which class is right for you.
If you work in construction, electrical, or other fields required to have CPR & First Aid personnel on staff please ask your employer which class is right for you.
If you are a just looking to have the right knowledge right now to respond to an emergency with friends or family members then ask us about our Friends and Family course. This is a popular course for communities and groups that don’t all necessarily want to be certified, however we can certify anyone attending one of these classes with an upgrade to pay for the certifications.
YES! If you are able to organize a group of 8 or more attendees we will qualify you for corporate pricing, allowing you to get the same discounted pricing as we would give to a standard corporation. All participants must pre-pay, as is our standard policy with all classes.
We do not offer refunds, as we must pre-order your equipment and certifications through AHA, however we will allow you to attend one of our other scheduled classes within 6 months of your original scheduled date. You may, however, give your spot to a friend or coworker who can attend the class in your stead for an additional $15 fee to cover the administrative changes required. For such a change we require a minimum of 1 hour notice.
